Lessons

Our lesson program is a fun, yet challenging experience for ages 7 to adult. We are able to offer a variety of programs catering to every level of rider, from those just starting out to the advanced jumper. We will help you build your confidence and skill as you progress from your first lesson to the show ring.

Our lessons are carefully geared toward the specfic goals of each rider. If you wish to learn to ride well enough to conquer the trails or long to compete in horse shows, we can help you make your dreams come true! Our experienced instructors are friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and patient; and their love of horses, riding, and teaching is apparent in all they do.

All beginner riders with little or no experience start with private lessons to learn the basics of horsemanship both on and off the horse. The focus during these lessons will be on safety, how horses think and react, gaining comfort and confidence, preparing your horse to ride and the basics of a balanced seat. When your instructor feels you have gained enough control, you will be placed in an hour group lesson of no more than 4 riders appropriate to your level of skill.

Riders new to the program who already have riding experience will first be evaluated privately, then placed with an appropriate group of no more than four riders.

With 2 heated indoor arenas, an outdoor arena and 2 miles of trails on the property, tooooohere are plenty of opportunities to enjoy horseback riding year-round.

Our lesson program is a fun yet challenging experience offered to children and adults ages 7 and up.  We are able to offer a variety of lessons to fit every level of rider, from beginners through advanced, to help you feel comfortable from your first lesson to the show ring.  In addition to riding, all-around horsemanship, including handling, grooming and tacking, is emphasized to ensure a safe environment for everyone.         

Each lesson program is specifically geared toward the goals of the student for which it was created.  Whether you wish to learn to ride safely and comfortably enough to conquer the trails or long to compete in horse shows, we can help you reach your goals.  Our staff is patient, willing and dedicated to work with each student's individual needs and goals.  We go above and beyond to make this a memorable experience.

Lessons are payable by the month, or choose from one of our standard lesson packages.  We can also customize a package to fit your individual needs.  Call for available days and times or with any other questions, and we will be happy to assist you in making your dream of horseback riding a reality.  We accept cash, checks, Visa, Mastercard and Discover.
